I'm in person. 30 minute delay due to serious injury/ambulance. 3 min, 1Q right
Pat's up 35-28. JCA matriculated the ball down the field nicely. TD plunge.
10:13 4Q
49-28. Pat's fake punt goes for a 72 y score
I'd assume $$$$ is the reason it's not being fixed.Radio Announcers said kid had a bad concussion but would be ok.They heard it from the parents so that is good news. What all is wrong with Hanson Stadium Turf? And why isn't it being fixed?
Even the poor sections of the city(Gately) as well as schools(Solorio among others) are getting turf so why is Hanson getting screwed?I'd assume $$$$ is the reason it's not being fixed.
A fake punt up two scores with under three to play? Don't know if that's ballsie or .......rubbing it in a little
Regardless whether or not anyone thinks it's rubbing it in, the reality is JCA has put up some lopsided scores on conference foes in the past. I'm sure no conference foes are going to show them any sympathy this year.Only rubbing it in if JCA promised not to try and score the rest of the game!

It's Chicago...who frickren knows?Even the poor sections of the city(Gately) as well as schools(Solorio among others) are getting turf so why is Hanson getting screwed?
Well I am one of them and I am right here. This is a very accurate post. I know that Sharp, just like Gordie, rarely has passed on the opportunity to add on an additional score. It always seems like the approach was "we have enough, but lets add another TD (or two)". I am talking an additional one or two scores, not 5 or 6.
As for this year, this team will certainly be paying the price for the many years JCA pounded their opponents in the ESCC. I am sure it is still a big deal to beat JCA, and if you can do it by a lot of points I know teams will be more than happy to do it.
Where are the people that predicted JCA to be 7-2, or 6-3?
I predicted 3-6. I don't see that happening. I see anywhere from 0 to 2 wins. Saw improvement offensively yesterday, but Pat's has given up a lot of points this year. I don't see the JCA defense stopping many teams, so it's tough to project many victories going forward. Anyone who watched the lower level games of the Jr. and Sr. classes is not surprised by the results thus far. Pat's, ND and MCC are all better than I expected. I thought the Hilltoppers had a chance in those games. They are clearly underdogs in all three. MCC's close loss to Benet tells me they should be strongly favored in Woodstock against the Hilltoppers. Marian is their best chance at a win, but QB Cameron Thomas is going to give that defense problems. A winless season is definitely possible. We shall see.Well I am one of them and I am right here.
What I saw today was miles ahead of their week one performance.
My 7-2 hope for the boys is gone, but I hold out hope for a 5-1 run.
Ridicule me to your delight, but I will not throw in the towel on a young team like this.
My hope is that they gell and click this year, but if not this year they have the elements to develop into a dominant force for multi-year run.
Go Hill!!!
