I never knew this.
They developed a special grass that fills quickly and then dies out so
that we reseed before every game and are pretty much playing on a brand
new field each week. Which works out really great if you do happen to
want to do something different with your field.

We play on a base turf called MS Choice it is a Bermuda Grass developed at MSU. The 49rs and Chargers both play on the same grass the call it Bullseye out west. We overseed our field in the fall with ryegrass (when it will grow in the south). but as far as grass that growis in and dies out in a week that is not possible.

He talked to the turf guys about if Les Miles would want to eat the grass and they laughed and said knowing what goes into making it look that good, they wouldn't. <div>
</div><div>Apparently I misinterpreted the statements somewhat. You seem to have some pretty good knowledge on it and I will defer to you. But the main point was that we cut it down and reseed after every game (like, right after the game. Within 30 minutes) so the top is pretty much always clean and new. They were asking a question about why the field was so clear and the hashmarks, etc weren't still there.</div>

With enough rain I might have to cut the grass twice. If it was up to me I would just put concrete down or carpet. I hate cutting grass andI wish it did not grow every week. </p>

If you re-seed every week, it will keep growing and the grass planted from a few weeks before will be mature.

repair damage but its not going to germinate and make any difference in only a weeks time.
