Anyone have any experience with them? I didn't know they existed until I came upon one just last week. I know they are around 70-80 HP but little more.

No experience with this specific John Deere, but it's just a smaller tractor built around the early 1980's.

Growing up we had a 4220 with a cab and with a forklift mounted on the back of it, but it just had the small round tires on the front and didn't have MFWD.

We had a 4955 in the late 80's or early 90's that had front wheel assist.

I've been around a couple but never used them personally. A friend has one and seems to like it just fine. I went to an auction about 15 years ago to try to buy one but it brought about twice as much as I wanted to pay. Generally the Deere older tractors really hold value so even if you bought it and didn't like it you should be able to get your money back out of it.
