unlike tHuggy Bear, the idol of SlowHead, Coach West and many other Old Fold & Blew fans. The Ohio Bobcats visit Huntington to take on the Herd on Sunday at 2:00 p.m. This game is scheduled to appear on the Big Ten Network, which surprises me, as I haven't seen any other games on BTN, in which both participants have been from other conferences.

That had to be a misprint. B1G network would never show a game not existing of at least one B1G program. Plus, I know that the Penn State/Michigan game is on the B1G network at 2 o'clock on Sunday.

Thanks for the info. My DirecTV guide showed it on there this morning, but it has since disappeared. It didn't make any sense to me that it would be on the Big Ten Network.

Unfortunately for your Bobcats, they met the same fate WVU basketball has met on every trip to Huntington. That's the reason Huggy took a powder on the series, after Danny suggested playing the games on home campuses.

drinking again?
The Cousins are the undisputed masters of two things...disingenuous excuses as to why they won't face the herd and revisionists history concerning the the times they mustered the courage to play! Of course they are winless in Huntington but they'll never own it!

will you bring the carts and tables to Charleston too?
Are you referring to the time when the kid from Houston ran into a band cart? That incident must have been 10 years ago so I give you credit for searching your memory banks to come up with yet another disingenuous excuse to run from the Herd! BTW, you cousins assured us the resulting litigation would end all MU athletics, Hahahahahhahahahaha.

what was the deal then anyway?
The WVU bench was catching some heat from hecklers and the kid that quit somehow responded , the Big cat starting yelling at his own player for responding, I guess the kid was a scrub anyway, well the kid takes umbridge at his own coach, pulls off his WVU jersey and throws it to the ground and walks off back to the locker room to the roar of approval from a packed Henderson Center!

The player (in state product) was publicly complaining about wanting more playing time weeks before and used the moment to embarrass Catlett.

Memory serves, isn’t that time (Marshall’s 4 out of 5 wins over WVU in Huntington) that their coach Huckabee was found giving gold jewelry, money, transportation and several recruiting violations to players that the NCAA put MU on 2 years probation and banned said coach from coaching 5 years?

Probably not wise to bring up cheating in the same thread where Gale Catlett's name has been mentioned.

He conveniently retired in 2002, once the Hargett scandal started to break.

He cheated at UC, and cheated at WV. Not really breaking news here, as the OSU poster has wrote about this multiple times on this very forum.

Well if you want to dig into the past I could bring up the mops for props scandal that happened at MU where players were paid 4 times the prevailing wage for jobs they didn't have to show up for and they could pick up their paychecks at the football coaches office.

Sounds like they needed a MBA from WVU if they wanted to get away from the chump change!
