I saw Andy Staples ranked the ACC QBs and didn't have Miller Moss in the top 10. Now, I think top to bottom, the ACC does have the best roster of QBs, both based on proven ability and potential, but not to have Moss in the top 10 is absolute clickbait lunacy.

Here is a stat list of every QB Jeff Brohm has coached.
WKU
Doughty - 4,830 yards - 49 TDs
Doughty - 5,055 yards - 48 TDs
White - 4,363 yards - 37 TDs

Purdue
Blough/Sindelar - 3,202 yards - 27 TDs (Blough and Sindelar were both 3 star QBs)
Blough - 3,705 yards - 25 TDs
Plummer/O'Connell/Sindelar - 3,719 yards - 29 TDs (Plummer was a 3 star recruit, O'Connell was a walk-on)
Plummer/O'Connell - COVID 6 Games - 1,854 yards - 15 TDs
O'Connell - 3,712 yards - 28 TDs
O'Connell - 3,490 yards - 22 TDs

Louisville
Plummer - 3,204 yards - 21 TDs
Shough - 3,195 yards - 23 TDs (Shough was a 4 star QB)
Moss - 4 star prospect

Even when Brohm has had to use committees, his QBs have always produced. Even in the chaotic, shortened COVID years his 2 QBs combined to average over 300 passing yards per game. In his 7 full, Power 5 seasons his QBs have averaged 3,461 passing yards per season. Something I noticed is that Jeff Brohm has never had a QB not produce. Even when he used multiple QBs, they each produced. He's NEVER had a QB turn in a season with a terrible stat line - not even a part time QB. So the idea that Miller Moss won't turn in a top 10 season blatantly goes against everything history tells us about Jeff Brohm. Staples pointed to the fact that Lincoln Riley couldn't get a great year out of him and he has coached 3 Heisman winners. With all due respect, Riley is the John Calipari of coaching. Riley coached Baker Mayfield, Jalen Hurts, Kyler Murray and Caleb Williams. All 4 are starting NFL QBs. 99% of the coaches in America could have gotten great seasons out of those guys. Jeff Brohm has put 6 QBs in the NFL, has 3 currently active and 1 coaching QBs for the Commanders (Blough). Lincoln Riley could not have gotten those 6 guys into the NFL - end of story. Jeff Brohm is an infinitely better QB coach than Lincoln Riley.

Great info. The system is supposed to be QB-friendly, and it is. Brohm hasn't coached an ounce of the talent that Riley has....that's why I hate the comparison from Staples....

In general, USC didn't have much talent last year

I wasn’t going to say it because it sounds like a crazy thing to say on the surface. BUT….he’s going to be surrounded by more talent at Louisville. lol.
His WRs are better and he has the best stable of RBs in the country. Certainly the best 1-2 punch. There’s a reason Moss didn’t take the Missouri was throwing at him and took less to come play under Brohm. Riley is a great offensive mind but Brohm had a proven track record of getting great seasons out kids with much less talent than Moss.

I think Shough is the most physically gifted QB Brohm has coached so far in his career - but Moss is probably the best overall talent he’s had the opportunity to coach. Doesn’t have the massive arm but the accuracy, quick decision making, play recognition aspect of his game is ahead of any QB he’s coached.
