to Tuesday but players attorney doesn't know about it. Supposedly the excuse is that the attorney just got on the case today. Also to note, the police did confirm that Jefferson was seen by multiple witnesses, kicking the victim in the back of the head. Go to Rosetta's twitter feed and check out his coverage. He's on top of most things LSU.

..is currently on probation. (According to the "LSU Karma" link, LSU is now on probation).

I always thought LSU was one of the nation's Teflon programs that could do literally anything they wanted, & the NCAA would always look the other way.

LSU has alway struck me as a program that is corrupt beyond comprehension, but because they are located in Louisiana where the political structure has been corrupt to the core for a 100 years, everybody just sort of nods & winks when anybody ever mentions the LSU football program should be investigated for various, on-going infractions.

per victims' attorney. Also not happy with and knew nothing about the extension of the players hearing.

If JJ is charged with 2nd degree battery he expects Miles to suspend JJ a minimum of half the season, if he doesn't kick him off the team entirely. Said things aren't looking good for JJ's future.

Getting very interesting since the players lawyered up. Also, stated that the investigation could take another 2 weeks... Seems a little too convenient for me.

Who among us hasn't ganged up on a couple of guys in the parking lot outside a bar and kicked them in the back of the head? People living in glass houses shouldn't throw stones.

but there is a defined line when fighting (even though any fighting is ridiculous and never justified), and kicking a guy defenseless on the ground is way over it, no matter what way you look at it... A kick to the head can be deadly, a lot more deadly than any amount of punches.

Hope you are joking. And me personally, I've never ganged up on any people outside or inside any bar, or anywhere for that matter.

didnt see any sarcasterics**... Story I've heard from some of our student workers is that the guy was on ground balled up and getting kicked an punched. Pretty much defenseless. And the guy who came in (Marine), tried to pull the guy out, got jacked up for trying to help. Wouldn't be too fun with a group of football players mauling you in a ball on the ground.
