To be fair, most of the kids who quit at Staunton River were kids who had never played before and were only out because of the effort put in to recruit the hallways. Remember, they returned 0 starters and 0 backups from the previous year. Football is not for everybody and neither is the effort that it takes to be great. From what I understand, the rest were kids who flat out refused to play the positions asked of them. Again, it takes a commitment to the team concept over self.Article in paper he quit.
