The idea that Arizona isn’t playing on NCAA sanctions and banned from post-season play is a joke.

That Sean Miller is allowed to coach any team except maybe a prison league team is a farce.

But it won’t matter. You could give Sean Miller the personnel from the Lakers and he couldn’t make the Final Four.

No one has shot well for us so far this year. 24.5% from the arc is pretty terrible. I thought Quickley looked like he was going to be reliable, but he's been bad so far and so has Juzang. On a side note, the guy at Arizona I wish had picked UK is Nnaji. He barely misses anything and lives in the post.

I like him, hope he does well there but he wasn’t making shots when most needed.
Its different at UK in front of 23000 or playing Duke in Chicago than playing Arizona Central in front of 2300, when the lights come on and the pressure is there those arms get tight.

I'd rather have Johnny Juzang in the long run, especially next season when Juzang and Boston light it up on the wing.
Obviously . Juzang is a NBA prospect many think of as a 1st round talent down the road. Baker is well Baker . A guy who could become a decent college player but is role player at best . Baker did the right thing leaving and I hope he excels . Once a Cat always a Cat .

It might be obvious to you, but it isn't obvious to the OP, who created a thread knowing that if we still have Baker, Juzang wouldn't have come here.

That's my point CAL needs some good role players who play D and shoot the ball well. I think Baker if he would have stuck around and stayed out of the dog house could really have helped this team this year. Juzang cant play D at least up too CAL's standards and won't get the minutes Baker would. If you remember back to Bakers freshman season when he sat out everyone said he was the best shooter on the team and more then likely would be this season .

If so many players have trouble shooting at Kentucky, maybe it's the system they are in.

Baker missed plenty of good looks last season.

These guys become better shooters the longer they stay in school. Unfortunately for us, most of our guys leave the program before we get a chance to see how they develop on that level.

But Baker didn't want to be here anymore. He was a rotation piece last year and would have been one this year as well. He didn't want to be so far from home.
