<h1>Jeremiah Masoli sniffing around an SEC school?</h1><div class="post-info">Posted by John Taylor on June 30, 2010 3:11 PM ET
</div><div class="post-body">It's been exactly three weeks since Jeremiah Masoli was <font color="#004a80">booted from the Oregon football program</font> following a mini-string of legal incident this offseason.

</div><div>The quarterback who would've entered the upcoming season as a Heisman contender instead was undone by <font color="#004a80">a burglary charge</font> that led to his <font color="#004a80">suspension for the entire 2010 season</font>; then, three months later, the QB was <font color="#004a80">charged with pot possession</font> -- among other things -- and was summarily dismissed from the school.</div><div>
</div><div>Now that's he's available, Masoli is taking a look at schools who may have an interest in his talent despite the hefty baggage he would bring to a program. And one of the schools he's reportedly looking at resides in the most powerful football conference in the country.</div><div>
</div><div>Accordingto (take grain of salt... NOW!)television reportsout of the area, <font color="#004a80">Masoli is "looking at" Mississippi State</font> and visited the Louisiana Tech campus this past weekend. </div><div>
</div><div>As far as the former is concerned, there was no word on whether Dan Mullen & Company were making the interest a two-way street or if it's simply a matter of Masoli having a wish list and the Bulldogs just happen to reside on it. Or if there is even any real meat to this "story", for that matter.</div></div>
