Guys I know you will probably tell me to take this elsewhere but just say a little prayer tonight for The King, he collapsed in Montreal and they had to perform CPR. Sure some of yall know him from his memphis days and AWA days. WWE illustrated enough that it was not fake and that it was a very serious situation. Just thought I would share this tid bit.

The latest word is he was breathing on his own and seemed more responsive at the hospital.

Edit: Yeah, what he said.

I have a friend who is related to him and he's always said Jerry is one of the nicest people you'll ever meet.

Jerry is a really nice person. I truly believe if he would've won the mayoral election a few years back Memphis would be in better shape today. Now his son on the other hand is a jackass, at least he used to be when he was younger.

At what point is McMahon going to stop putting 60 year old men in the ring? It's not the hits that they take that are so dangerous. It's the adrenaline rush from getting in front of the crowd and then immediately running around a ring immediately after. Grown men can't take that kind of thing at that age, and I really hope this was an eye opener. As much as I loved to see the Hitman back a few years ago, it made me nervous as hell when he actually got in the ring after having a damn stroke.

I agree with the old man statement but in this case he was one of the announcers at the table. He was not in the ring. I do not watch wrestling but saw it on the news. He just collapsed and they did CPR.

While it is true he had the heart attack at the announcer's table, he had been involved in a match 10 minutes prior. I have to echo the sentiment that 62 year olds have no business in the ring.

I bet that the story also didn't mention that he had been in some sort of action the last two weeks as well. I can't remember exactly how it played out, but I think he was in the ring for a match two weeks ago and then he was involved in a backstage brawl last week. I just don't get it. These older guys shouldn't be doing that in the first place, and the thing that's even worse is that nobody wants to see it. Again, all you can do is hope that this is a wake up call.

Yes He And Champion CM Punk were in a lil feud. Lawler and Punk were even in a steel cage match that saw lawler get busted open. Then last week he was attacked on the way to the ring for commentary. I even read that he is suppose to fight Pyscho Sid In the Delta at some fair at the end of the month. Crazy Stuff.
