I honestly can't get upset about that... It used to bother me when I'd hear people on here saying that they'd see us going 6-6, but in retrospect... I can understand that... I didn't really become a MSU fan until I started college in 07. I remember growing up loathing MSU because they always seemed to be pitiful. Remembering that mindset, learning the history and experiencing some these past few years, and talking to people who have been MSU fans for a while... I can understand that doubt.<div>
</div><div>Since I haven't really been a fan for too long and only experienced 2 losing seasons and 2 winning seasons, I'm a little more optimistic than most, but I'm not one to get too far ahead of myself. No matter how you shake it... we have one hell of a schedule and even some of the ones we tend to look at as cake walks could still turn out to be a dog fight. I'd much rather the perception of us to be mixed because that means we don't have too much hype behind us. Not only that but... it's just the first week of the season... No need to really get too bent out of shape over it.</div>

And I feel both being in the Sugar and the Birmingham Slum Bowl is not going to happen. I'd bet a nice sum it would be between Nashville, Atlanta, or Jacksonville again. It would be awesome if Dallas, I would be ecstatic if it was Tampa Bay, and we could get another Rose Bowl prediction from Steve and the Scout tribe if we made Orlando.
