Maybe because football is not the most important thing to some people. I believe Meyer when he says he is leaving for family reasons. You can make all the money in the world and work for the greatest people, but as a guy it's tough to miss watching your family grow up and not always getting to be involved. I wouldn't know this firsthand because I don't have kids yet, but I can imagine what he's going through.
Even though him leaving causes us more stress dealing with Mullen possibly leaving, I hope everything works out for Meyer. I think he made the right decision, because in the end it's HIS decision. He doesn't owe Florida or the fans or recruits anything. It's his life and he can do whatever he wants.
