If Cecil Newtons solicits money from Auburn and Auburn in fact pays (and that is proven by the NCAA), then Auburn still committed a 17ing violation.

All the NCAA is saying is AT THIS TIME, we don't have evidence to support Cam Newton knew of his father's solicitation or Auburn paid. That's it. It's that simple you dubmasses.

My understanding was that if a family member (Cecil) tried to solicit money from a university (MSU) then he would be deemed ineligible.. Today the NCAAdid in fact announce this was the case, oram I missing something. Not saying you are incorrect, just asking.

A loop hole would exist for a SCHOOL (any school) if:
A parent could solicit funds for their kid on a pay for play and the school gave money. Then the kid went to said school and the school was completely protected b/c the player didn't know about it. That's not what happened here (according the NCAA's known facts AT THIS TIME).

What happened is that the NCAA has sufficient evidence that Cecil solicited funds. According to the evidence AT THIS TIME, Cam didn't know and Auburn didn't give money. If in fact it is proven to the NCAA that Auburn gave money, they are in deep **** regardless if Cam knew or not.

THERE IS NO LOOP HOLE CREATED BY THE NCAA OR SEC.
