usually because of ****** DEFENSE. and ****** FG kickers. And I just don't understand some of the match-ups either. I mean, c'mon, no SEC team in the 17'n Sugar Bowl??

Ala-17ing-bama fans.

The Fiesta, Sugar, and Rose were all close games, won in the final moments. Most all of the other bowls have beencompetitive games. This Orange Bowl isn't so great. But the biggest disappointment (of the few)of this bowl season will be a rematch championship game. They beat y'all AT HOME. LSU should be given 3 points to start the gameand ball possession to start the 1st and 2nd half. I hope they beat y'all by four touchdowns.

By the way, on the way to New Orleans, through Mississippi, pick up all the trailer trash that call themselves "Bama" fans.

Those were all absolutely horrible games with zero defense being played. And if Alabama doesn't deserve to be in the NC game, please let us know who does?

This BCSNCG has to be the least talked about Ch'ip game ever (outside the Finebaum show).<div>
</div><div>LSU vs. Oklahoma State would have been more talked about. LSU vs. Boise State (if they'd finished 12-0) would have been the most talked about since USC vs. Texas.</div>

But in the Sugar Bowl, close game doesn't necessarily mean good game. Neither of those teams should have ever been in that game to start with. We should have seen Arkansas and Boise St. in that game, but a combination of a stupid rule and a stupid selection committe kept that from happening.

As for the rematch being a disappointment, who the hell else could have been in that game to make it any better? I wish Okie St. hadn't lost to a 6-7 team (5-7 in the rest of their schedule), but I can guarantee you LSU-OSU wouldn't have been anywhere near as good a game as LSU-Bama will be.I understand that Bama lost to LSU in the regular season (in OT in a game they outplayed LSU). But Okie St. lost to IOWA FREAKING ST.,had a lot more close calls in their wins than Bama did, and doesn't have a quality win anywhere near as impressive as Bama's win over Arkansas.

did you think the usc-texas classic vince young BCS CG was crap too?<div>
</div><div>the whole "defense" ******** schtick from the sec fans is pretty annoying. oregon's D probably played auburn better than everyone but our D last season, and if not for a flukely non-tackle, they likely would have headed to OT with a chance to win. check the per play D of a lot of these programs, they are much better than the "total D" which is too influenced by ball control to be an adequate measure of how good a D truly is. </div><div>
</div><div>the problem i have with bowl games is that i watched the fiesta bowl passively just because i'm a CFB fan, but i wasn't really into it because there was nothing riding on the game. the difference between 12-1 and 11-2 for okie st and stanford isn't going to materially change either program. but imagine if that game had been for a CG spot. i would have been jumping up and down and yelling at the tv and i am not even a fan of either team. i think the younger generation feels that way about bowls. they just mentally don't carry much/any weight to general CFB fans who aren't a fan of either school. hell, even for the schools involved, look how many bowls were 1/2 empty. if the lower bowls make enough money through sponsors and tv deals, then they can function just as well with a 4, 6, or 8 team playoff as they do now. the same people will watch (fans of the teams, CFB junkies looking for one of the last fixes till aug/sept) and the same people will attend the games. the MCB doesn't carry any more or less weight under the current system, the old system, or a playoff system.</div>

I'd much rather have seen LSU go up against Ok State, just more intrguing than watching Alabama lose again.

except SEC teams.....every bcsgame are like NBA all star games. Pitiful tackling, pass rush, and coverage. The funny thing is clemson would have been in it if not for that BS going in for a touchdown and stripped inside the pile play.
