give up baseball. What Jack is to football and basketball, Jim is to baseball. I've listened to Jim to baseball games since I could remember. He's one of the best in the business, and that includes listening to every MLB guy in the business. I just couldn't ever imagine Jim not doing a baseball game. Oh yeah, Jack said that if it were up to him, Jim would get his spot. I say give it to him. he already does all three now so I don't think much would change for him.

Which to me, was as bad as being an outright homer- "LSU looking for a double play ball from the Bulldogs to end the threat, and there it is! Double play. LSU gets out of the inning."

He has gotten a lot better at that recently, though.

It is hard to imagine listening to a football game without Jack but then you take Jim away from baseball and it is like we are starting over in all sports.

Please tell me you guys aren't going off information saying Jim won't be doing baseball. Losing Jim for baseball would be much more devastating to me than losing Jack. Listening to baseball occurs on many, many more occasions per season than listening to football, and Jim IS msu baseball.

We are having some success right now with the football program, and basketball has been good for awhile, but baseball is what MSU is all about. I say again: Jim IS msu baseball.

Why is this being discussed? Has something come out? If not, this is ignorant to be talking about. Jim would never give up baseball on his own.
