that'd be a terrible move. They are currently one ****** half from playing for the national title THIS year, and he'd go to playing much more difficult teams.

Sounds like he wants to run the show. No chance of that at Auburn. I could see him at UT

The ACC has, and is continuing, to show that they don't seem to care much about football as a conference. Duke/UNC have all the power there and basketball is always going to be more important there. I could see a football coach looking to get out of the ACC.

I think there is something going on behind the scenes with Jimbo. The other day he made a comment about the ACC not caring as much for football as the SEC in reference to buyouts.

Having said that, I don't think Jimbo leaves. This smells like leverage for a new contract negotiation/extension.

hence the reason he was at AU during the off week. Now why in the hell would you leave the best FB program in the ACC where you are 1 or two challenges a year from the orange bowl or BCS champ game to coach at AU? You would leave FSU, who cares about football and has money, to coach at AU in which you recruit and play against Saban and a better funded program in Alabama? You can steamroll through the ACC or struggle against LSU, Alabama, aTm, Arkansas, Florida, Etc?

I think it would take either an egomaniac or a sucker to make that move. And TN? Uhh no. They had them a big list too last time and they wound up with Dooley.

that's the reason I said he has a son there ... as for the other questions, I assume they are rhetorical as the article attempts to answer your points

I think the Notre Dame situation is the one pissing him off the most and I agree with him. Notre Dame is a ***** school. Either join the ACC in all sports or join in none. When Notre Dame plays in BCS bowls they don't have to share with the ACC?

Well, you do get a basically 1 'get out of jail free-loss' per year in the SEC compared to the ACC, right?

There are 4 or 5 one and two loss SEC teams ahead of FSU right now in the BCS. So, while the level of competition might not be as high in the ACC, his margin for error is certainly smaller as well.
