and one of the top players in the state his senior year signed to play at Ole Miss a few years ago. He was a big boy - 6'4 maybe 250. Come to find out tonight, he is no longer on the baseball team and will be playing football now for Ole Miss.

The caveat of all this - Myrtle didn't have a football team so I am guessing he has never played a down.

He also didn't have any rum to give Jobu to make it any better. 6-4, athletic and African American in 1A baseball probably looked better than what he really was.

He is a big, athletic guy, but probably won't ever contribute. Can't knock him for wanting to at least try. It might be enough to keep him in shape to try to rejoin the baseball team this fall though.
