According to investigators, a Florida Highway Patrol trooper stopped Smith on Golfair Boulevard near I-95 because the tint on his car's windows was too dark. They say the trooper also smelled a strong odor of marijuana.</p>
This led to a search of Smith's vehicle. Authorities say the trooper found 6 grams of crack cocaine, marijuana and powder cocaine residue. They say Smith also had a suspended license.</p>
According to an inmate log at the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office, Smith is facing the following charges: knowingly operating a vehicle with a suspended, canceled or revoked license, possessing or selling a controlled substance, cocaine possession, possession of 20 grams or less of cannabis and use of drug paraphernalia.</p>
