Wasted year for JJ. However, if you aren’t getting minutes on this team then I don’t know what to say

Unless he's planning on transferring I don't understand why he has not played this season. I remember seeing him once this season and he wasn't any worse than some other guys.

I don't know why he couldn't have gotten about 10 minutes in this one.

I don’t know about the “redshirt” rules but if you play in 4 or more games, you’re not able to redshirt. JJ has appeared in 3 games this season.

Good point. If he hasn't already made up his mind to transfer, maybe he wanted to keep the option open while not burning a year of eligibility.

Yeah they want to know why he couldn’t play a couple minutes while getting burned by 30.

That's for football, in Basketball you can't play any games

I stand corrected. The Atlantic 10 is trying to get the rules changed and NCAA is “currently” reviewing it but Jack is right.

This means that what the coaches are doing to JJ is ridiculous. He deserved more PT.

James Brewer coached JJ in HS, we know JJ's a legacy also, which makes his situation even more unique. If you follow that twitter chain you will see Boo has some things to say.

Something about the handling of JJ has felt off from day one this year. The guys in front of him didn't exactly play so well to keep JJ off the court the entire year. This has basically been a lost season for JJ and his support group isn't happy about it obviously.

Everything we've seen outta JJ on the sideline has been positive and he appears to be a great teammate. Going to be really interesting to see how this plays out this summer.

Anybody know if the meeting with JJ’s family happened and what outcome came out of it?
