This was a coming out game for JJ. Had some big blocks this game too.

I really don’t understand the constant snipping by fans. It is ridiculous. JJ makes a big jump but it has nothing to do with coaching.

Thought he was going to be a hustle guy on the 2nd unit but when Syd struggled and BHH went down he got those consistent minutes and he's started to show some things.

Tonight should be interesting with the challenge in front of him on a 48 hour turn around. Hoping he can keep it going.

Traynor with 16 pts, 3 rebs against Duke.

Stepped on Duke players foot and twisted ankle but returned to game.

The next step for JJ is he has be get stronger and becoming a better defender. He shouldn’t be getting lost as much as he does on defense. He is gets messed up on his rotations. I think it is simple lack of communication. He follows a switch for 2-3 steps then figures out he was supposed to switch.

Right, JJ plays hard but needs to put on some more weight and muscle. He gets manhandled out there sometimes, but also learning to play defense better in general would help him.

He obviously has the athleticism and length to make life difficult for opposing teams as with his key blocks in the Clemson game.
