I'm hearing some talk about Joe Morrow following mini Favre down to PRCC. Has anyone heard any rumblings of this? I heard from someonevery close to the PRCC program. He toldme Favre was transferring to PRCC months ago, which is why this has me a little worried...

So I would not at all be surprised if he transferred as well. I am very pissed about it. It doesnt make any sense because Morrow is the future here. Hell Favre was getting significant playing time and could have challenged for the starting spot. He was one injury away from being starter next year potentially.

Not saying it's impossible, but I had heard from several people that Favre was gone. He had told several teammates early on that he was planning on leaving. I think if Morrow was telling people that, it would be getting around.

Look I wish the guy the best, but we have experimented with short qb's and failed. The only reason he played this year was to give Relf some time to heal. Don't act like the guy has the body to run this offense in this conference, because he doesn't. He should be playing DII ball, not SEC ball.

We'll be fine at QB if Russell stays healthy and if Prescott is as good as advertised. If either one of those things doesn't happen, we're going to be wishing we had Little Favre back.

much of a shock to see favre transfer, with the depth chart being what it is, so it's not that big of a jump to think he would. Morrow, on the other hand, has plenty of promise, and I doubt he would (barring personal issuers or grades).

hands. Lewis played qb in HS, and Bumphis did some spot duty as well. Let them run some option, roll them out in certain pass plays to get them in space, bootlegs, etc. I would do that big time next year to give some relief, and just being creative and putting pressure on defenses.

I mean, he is another guy back there, but he is nothing special. Basically all he has done is throw a swing pass and run the ball, everything else has been pretty bad. I don't really see how Prescott couldn't at least pull that off. We will be in trouble if Russell gets hurt. Nothing could have prevented that unless Prescott is amazing, which I doubt because our backups are always supposed to be so good.

Favre is depth, but not quality depth, and I don't see why anyone else that has played Quarterback in high school would be any worse than him.

Let's be realistic here. We could wish and rationalize all day long, but like Henig, he just wasn't a D1 QB. Mullen took a chance on him because we didn't land Newton or Brunetti.<div>

against Bama.

There certainly could be worse QBs to put back there. I think his bad plays were mostly due to inexperience and trying to force the home run play, not due to a lack of height or talent.

the little bastard connects with Morrow on a TD pass to beat us in the first game of 2014 as the Buzzard QB. I really hope that isn't true about Morrow, I was hoping he would give us a legit deep threat over the next few years.

He's on the roster so I would expect him to be practicing. Not sure that is an indicator of his future.

Brunetti was horrible looking this year. At least favre came in and ran a couple arkansas players over to score. Damn favre probably wouldnt make it but he wasnt garbage either. Some of you just amaze me with the Favre hate. I wish him the best. I do not see Morrow transferring, it makes no sense.
