Joe Powell wasn’t the best catcher to play baseball for MSU, but I really enjoyed watching him play. I am glad that he decided to give up the firefighter dream and come to Starkvegas to show us that you can succeed at second chances hopes and dreams. Hail State, Joe!

Can't believe we waited so long to give him the job.
I have a soft spot for Joe. I love Cincinnati and believe it's an underrated city. Plus my mother in law is a huge reds fan. For me, he's the embodiment of that tough blue collar city. I'm proud that he wore the m over s and I hope I run into him around the Nati so I can buy him a beer.
Joe should have been the full time starter for two years. No clue why it took so long for staff to figure that out.
When he was at the plate and we needed a hit, I always felt like he was going to come through, unlike several others in the lineup these last 2 seasons
