Why? We'll have plenty of room if he changes his mind, again. At the rate our "commits" keep dropping, we won't sign 20 this season.

Be a leader not a follower Joe. Anyway, he would just be a special teams player here anyway. I do however wanna keep Market.

Honestly, this one helps. It clears our room for guys like Barron Dixon, Clemmons, Milton, Mackey, John Jenkins, Ty Montgomery (new WR offer who looks like he will visit and prolly change his mind after Harbaugh is gone), Aaron Morris (scout says he's not committed to Ole Miss), ect....seriously at least this way we don't have to pull a Nutt or Saban and drop him.

We were recruiting him as a DB and I don't think he can play DB in the SEC. I look for him to sign with OM or maybe with Coach Hud and ULL where he can play RB. </p>

unlike Market at SP who I think we want regardless of what Brassell does, I've always suspected that Price was a package deal with TS because Price is a marginal player to get an SEC scholarship at best. I would rather take my chances on saving that scholarship for a higher quality player. There will be plenty of players we could offer at the last minute if we still have spots available that would likely be equivalent to or better than Price.

...we should thank Scott Lindsey for that one. As far as I am concerned, it is Joe Whatshisname and Scott Lindsey decommitted him. He is no SEC player.

He was bait for TS, but having him call the CL is just an attempt to create more bad PR. Why could he not just call the coaches and be a man about it. Dump him and Singleton from their visit. They are going to be a cancer to the other recruits.

Wouldn't all this driving and advice be considered professional representation.

But I say let them show up and ask them why they are there. Send 'em packing.<span class="Apple-tab-span" style="white-space:pre"> </span>

I've been involved in too many rush parties (albeit quite a while ago) where guys who had already committed somewhere showed up just to 'rush' the other guys. CJ will be here this coming weekend, at the least they have to be rescheduled. They will becalm up in his ear talking Ole Miss. Recruits are by far the best recruiters.

Either reschedule them or yank the visits; this isn't sour grapes, it's just too big a risk to bring them in on our main weekend.

or taken outside for a tour of the parking lot....anything to get them away from legitimate candidates.

I'm sure there's a football recruiting equivalent.

He thought it was funny to mess with the thermostat. 30 minutes in the hot sun for him. Dr Keith made a big deal about it, I told him what the kid did and he said just don't do it again. I guarantee these guys want to show up and get in CJ and Whitehead's mind about Ole Miss. Having them on the same weekend will be disastrous.

we can't be very upset if any player who is committed to State doesn't sign with State.

Scholarships to SEC schools do not come cheaply after all. Not that I am suggesting those around the MC program may not be looking out for his best interests or anything. I mean that would be a ****** thing to have to justify or explain to the Black community of Flora (who have a very vocal and active faction. They look out for each other there) if those who are trusted to help the student athletes at MC, such as the coach, played games with one of their own. Costing a kid a scholarship to an SEC school just so some creepy adults can get their kicks from a 'recruiting coup' sounds fairly #%%#+# up to me. Wonder how that will go down in Flora?

Price gets to play RB, which is what he wants and MSU wasn't promising it. MSU gets rid of a guy that they only wanted if Tobias Singleton signed as well.

I do think he could help an SEC team in a capacity...but he didn't look like an SEC RB to me. The kid may set records at ULL or wherever he goes or he may be a starter at an SEC school one day...I can't predict the future, I'm just going off of the 3 games I saw. One thing he is is quick and he can make you miss.

Pull his visit and yank the offer. There is no need to have him there on a visit if he now has said publicly he wants out. it frees up room in case something else comes up between now and signing day.<div>
</div><div>And I'm with the rest of the folks that say reschedule or even cancel TS's visit. We don't need anyone there that is going to recruit for someone else even it would be fruitless or not. That's a headache we don't need. Hell his "driver" may still not be able to find the place anyway. And we for damn sure don't want his "driver" around anyone during the visits whispering sweet nothings.</div><div>
</div><div>Call TS on the phone and give him the whole spill. If he is said he is solid no matter what. Well lets offer his visit to someone else. There may be someone else we have a position of need for that Mullen might sway in his place.</div>
