I am curious. What percentage would you say of our fan base realistically wants JoeMo to stay? Would you say 30%? Even split?

I can’t even imagine 30% who want him to stay. Even those toting the water would breath a huge sigh of relief if he left for a new gig tomorrow. They are just too loyal to the the university to question the status quo.

You should be surprised at how few Mississippi State fans follow message boards. Most of them probably think Joe Moorhead is a good guy, and we need to give him at least another two years to build his program.

Right now, MSU message board fans are probably 99.99% fire Joe- Everette Kennard Keep Joe.

I know some people who don't follow football closely who are fine either way, but I've never talked to a single person over the last couple months who actively wants him here.

Maybe you get to 30% from people who just don't care and want to be nice, but I doubt you get to 5% from people who actually stick up for him and defend him.

Its embarrasing when the promotional tweets on Twitter and facebook, etc get inundated with negative comments obviously wanting change. Can't argue with the masses...its just bad. They have to do something.

I would not say I’m a Joe supporter, but there is a difference in blind support, and not wanting him fired. I don’t like where we are right now as a program, but I also don’t think we are in a position to dismiss him at the moment. If we under perform next season, I will be ready for a change.

I'd say of the fan base that keeps up with our football team (even half *** keeps up with it) that 10-15% would want to keep Joe for another year. I don't see it more than that and 15 might be high.

He’s going to meet the same fate that Luke met this year, and for largely the same reason. Fan apathy. At this point, most have figured out he’s not a good coach but he’s also not completely bombing, say the way croom did. However, next year sets up perfectly for a 3-5 win season.

Maybe. I honestly think the fans are so jaded at this point that some won’t support Joe even if he does have some success next year. I certainly hope that’s the case. If we win 5 games next year we should move on.

If he wins 6 plus with next years roster some improvement has happened. If he proves he can adjust and improve I have no problems with him staying.

Next years schedule is about as favorable as it gets. 6 wins really shouldn't be an accomplishment

By next Sept. the memory of the Music City Bowl will be long gone, most fans will be ready for football regardless, and will support/want Joe to be a success. However, that will be short lived when we struggle to field a team worth a ****.

I personally haven’t talked to one single person that wants to keep him. From what I’ve read here and on fb it’s more like 98-99% want him gone. It’s mind boggling to think that ANYONE would say to give him another year. What the heck has anyone seen that would make them want to keep him for another year? My take is he will tank our program even further next year. I haven’t been this apathetic towards our program since Croom and it won’t matter going into the fall of next year either long as he is here.
