Joey Logano question...

Joey is a good young driver. Just saw a stat that is quite amazing. Out of his 53 Nationwide starts he has 41 top 10 finishes and 7 victories. That is strong.
My question is why does this not transfer to Sprint cup? Is is the competition, the cars, different crew and crew chief (not sure about this). He has had some success in Sprint cup, but nothing like in nationwide.

Even though he has comparable equipment to most of the other Cup teams, the competition he faces at the top level is MUCH better than what he sees in NNS. Now, is his crew and crew chief comparable to the 48 and Chad Knaus. No way. But overall, they're not bad. That being said, many of his competitors in NNS are also his competitors in Cup. But the crews are usually different and of course the equipment is totally different. I do think he will be one of the stars of the future.

He is a good driver in the some of the best equipment, with one of the best crews/crewchiefs in Nationwide. The dropoff in Nationwide in equipment and crews and experienceis more as you go back into the pack and drops off quicker.
