Doesn’t have a chip and never will. Hell, might not even make the playoffs in his “banner” year.

Votto has to get hot again.... but if he leads his team to the Wildcard over the Padres you gotta believe he beats out Tatis
He will. Bats haven't been the same without Da Wink in there. Thing thing ain't over by a long shot

Yeah because baseball isn't a team sport or anything....and this isn't even close to Votto's "banner" year. It is however quite impressive for his age and considering he isn't juiced up on steroids like most who've put up big numbers late in their careers.

But got crushed by triple A Cubs…

This is baseball fella...heck the 4 worst teams in baseball (sub .400 win %) have 99 wins against teams with a .500+ win % this year.

You seem like a very bitter Reds fan or some trolling Cardinals fan. Can't figure out which.

Freeman is doing things like hitting for the cycle... and they could win their division.

Votto homered in 7 straight. Both are doing great things and Reds record is very similar to Atlanta and San Diego.

Freeman's stats are a bit better but remember Votto has played in 25+ less games.

Both have shouldered a lot of burden with major injuries to teammates.

Reds spent a lot of money on a guy who only had over 90 RBIs 4 times...in a pathetic hitter friendly park. He hasn't even reached 2000 hits yet at 37 and you guys are talking Hall of Fame?

But he walked a lot...so there you go. I hoped y'all enjoyed those walks.

His contract was a steal and if I had that money I'd bet you straight up he is in the HOF.

If you'd like to review...

Whenever I go to a Reds game, I get my company Diamond Seats (15-25 games a year) along with garage parking pass 33.5 paces behind our Diamond Seats. It is well known among us high-end (in the know) fans that Votto has had “boy” troubles for as long as he’s been in Cincinnati (yes he is gay). I 100% think he has found his life partner as his play on the field has shown. That or he is shooting something else (‘roids) up his butt.

or have you just ran out of your PrEP medication?

I think it has to do with them not letting pitchers doctor up the ball. That or the boyfriend theory.
Dude is raking. Guy's getting on base, scoring lots of runs. Playing with this group has rejuvenated his baseball career. Probably started jelling as a team last year with nobody else around. A few rookies this year, fans in the stands and it's even better. Even with key players hurt most of the year they've been a contender.

Perhaps… but didn’t Votto start raking when they started checking for foreign substances? It actually makes me think more of him if that’s the case.

no lead is safe for the reds. cincy can field 8 votto's and still the relievers struggle to get a win.

Lorenzen shut it down then they added a run so far in the 8th. They play add-on late in games which seperates them from a lot of teams this year.

I guess you have not watched the reds blow several leads this year? my mistake, I must be talking about a different cincinnati reds team.

They didn't blow it tonight CTD! Let's see where they are with this new group from here on out.

Krall didn't stand pat at the trading deadline. They basically have 5 new arms now in the bullpen. Lorenzen, Santillan, Givens, Cessa and Wilson. Sims is back too although he's sucked so far. They need Antone healthy and back to where he was the last couple years too.

are you denying they have blown several leads, even post trade deadline? no they didn't blow the lead tonight. don't take my comments on the reds relief pitching so personal. the reds relief pitching sucks...how can you deny.
