are you denying they have blown several leads, even post trade deadline? no they didn't blow the lead tonight. don't take my comments on the reds relief pitching so personal. the reds relief pitching sucks...how can you deny.
For 4 months there's no doubt. I'm seeing 13 wins and 7 losses, 6 saves and 2 blown saves in August.

Yes he's human. Who knew?

Perfection ends for Lorenzen after 13.2 innings with a 0.00 ERA.

Antone couldn't even finish the first batter before leaving the game tonight. First time he's pitched in months. Now his season may be over for good.

can you just admit...I may be correct about the bullpen?
you would look far better, than continuing to defend this sorry pitching.
they have the 3rd or 4th worst bullpen in mlb....look at the stats.

if he were a NY Yankee, would be no question or debate about HOF.
actually, I'm surprised he has remained in Cincy for his entire career.
Votto is probably the last player who will ever stay with one tem like that for the duration of his career. hopefully he's able to retire a Red and doesn't ship off to some other team to wind down his career for a couple of years.

Well Votto's sure as hell cooled off: over the last ten games he's only reached base twelve times. 4-30 with seven walks and one HPB. :/

Over the past 140 years, six players who played at least ten seasons have spent their entire careers on the Reds:

Bid McPhee (1882-1889 -- McPhee was the first MLB player to accomplish the feat)
Bench (1967-1983)
Concepcion (1970-1988)
Soto (1977-1988)
Oester (1978-1990)
Larkin (1986-2004)

I agree with you, I really hope Votto retires with the Reds (ideally with a World Series win or two, though that's obviously not likely). Playing for a single team for an entire career's an incredibly rare and cool accomplishment, especially when the player's a Hall of Famer.
