Are the Justices forrreal? I know Wythe is one of the worst teams in the state but JM has a very good looking freshman running back and looked pretty good overall.

I agree, they have improved, but only relative to how bad they were. Look at the quality of the execution around, and in the back ground of, any highlight videos you can find. It's not pretty. Improved, yes, but a long way to go to be considered a threat to even a "low-average" team.

I agree with you both. Looked at their roster and they have a lot of young guys with football size. Hopefully they can build towards the future. We'll know a little more about Marshall Friday when they play Petersburg who should win a game or two come playoff time.
He definitely has them going in the right direction and most importantly those kids are excited about football. But GW is awful and it is hard to gauge the progress. Simms needs a great offseason to convince those kids to get in the weight room before they can play with some of the teams on their schedule. But the ingredients for success are all there.
Wythe is awful but everytime I pass them on Midlothian TP, they're working hard at practice. Sucks that they are so bad.
DSH, like you and I have discussed many times. ANYTHING, that's positive in that inner city environment is a step in the right direction. Which makes me point directly at the leaders and administrators at GW. I know they can't fix the problem overnight, if ever, but they can at least do something. Such as get a coach and staff that believes they can make a difference. Talk is cheap, and they will say they are trying. I say ********. Lip service only. A total lack of accountability.
