Welp, this is the most convincing shred of proof I've seen. I was hopeful Jones would be a bulldog, but knowing that "he had fun chilling with [Nkemdiche] at Ole Miss" seals the deal for me.

Everyone on here that still subscribes to the paper that gives these tools a platform raise your hand. Drop the sub and quit bitching about them. Or keep it and keep bitching and look like a moron. Dropped my journal sub this week after I learned they filed a FOIA to possibly put my name and others in lee county in the paper for concealed carry permits before the legislature seals the info. I'm not putting up with that **** and canceled my sub of many years. And that's that.
Might want to wait until after Signing Day to completely obliterate him. If Jones sticks with State, then we know it's been a conspiracy. If he flips to Ole Miss, that tells you that Talty and the rest are just reporting the news.

He's in photos are ole miss's recruiting party wearing red and blue, partying with ole miss fans. We're supposed to trust this guy's word as an unbiased reporter of facts from here on?

He's a "reporter" for the clarion ledger covering recruiting. Have some pity for the guy. Kudos for him for maintaining any job in the newspaper industry, but his life doesn't appear to be on an upward trajectory. Maybe the reason he douches out is that he reasonably believes he's wasn't talented enough to be a writer when the market for journalists was decent, and he views his clarion ledger gig as an audition for the spirit?

I tried to keep an open mind on Talty. I tried to look at it as objective as possible. When he first started I noticed that he wrote and communicated with lots of Ole Miss fans on Twitter. I thougth that was odd for someone that should be remaining neutral, particularly for someone with no ties to the school. As he has progressed in the job, it's become clear that he does have an Ole Miss slant pretty much everything he writes.

Not once did I feel that Veazy, who has ties to Ole Miss, was not doing his job. I never felt that he was trying to slant something to help his school. I didnt' alway agree with him, but I never felt he was out to make us look bad or influence a story.

On the bill that exempts conceal carry permit holder identity from disclosure, call your house rep or state senator and tell them you want them to consider offering a floor amendment that makes the bill effective retroactive to January 1, 2013. That way any request made for records trying to beat the usual July 1 deadline would be moot.
That's why I don't have a permit. I don't won't there to be any record of me owning guns with any government agency.

Talty is a Maryland fan. If he is biased against State, which I don't think is the case, I think is because he has had more fun/made more friends in Oxford than in Starkville. (Whether this is the case or not, and I've already said I don't think it is, it is another reason we desperately need Starkville to become a place where people with no affiliation with MSU wish to spend time.)
