As much as anyone here, I'd love to see Sidney cleared to play, but I realize his situation is different from Wall. Wall's issues were fairly minor and his case was handled in the typical NCAA fashion. Sidney's history in California and all the documentation involving Vaccaro, shoe companies, dad's "job", living expenses, etc., makes his status more complex and more fishy. His lawyer refusing to fully cooperate with the NCAA adds another layer as well. All very different than Wall's case. If Sidney gets to play, that sets a precedent of "anything goes" for getting qualified to play college basketball. I bleed maroon, but I see that. I'd be stunned if he gets cleared, but would love to see it happen....
