Remember when the tradition coalition told us Riley would start him over Armstrong in year 1, and run off a bunch of players? Good times...
I remember Riley was very high on Stanton out of high school. I remember a vast majority of posters counting the days down until Tommy was gone because he sucked so bad. I also remember how Tanner Lee was the next coming of Tom Brady and how he was going to take us to another level. How is that working out?

That was pretty cool, good for him!

I read his UNLV bio, said he started four games last season but was then injured. Anyone know what happened?

Stanton started first four games last year and was not stellar. Hurt his knee and was out and by the time he came back he lost the job. This year UNLV brought in 4* Armani Rogers and handed him the reins as the future. Stanton has handled it with some aplomb. However for the "POB wil leave" suggestions, the grass is not always greener just because you leave to go to another school.

On the topic of blocked kicks, it looks like we don't even try. Why? With the speed guys we have we'd have a shot off the edge.

Might just be me but when you have someone as electric as DPE back returning kicks coaches probably want to set up the return more than going for the block.

I’ve always been of the camp that you can’t set up a good punt return when the punting team knows you never bring the heat. It was a major problem we had during many Pelini years too.
