I didn't see the second bad call. But, the SC TD that wasn't reversed was garbage. Replay clearly showed the SC WR with his foot out of bounds after gaining control of the ball. Vandy got hosed on that call. It washed out points-wise as Vandy returned the following kickoff for a TD.

However, I'm starting to get really pissed with folks (not here) acting as if the coaches calling out refs are being sore losers and deflecting the loss onto something else. It's not about that. It's about getting the call right when the slowed down replay clearly shows the call was wrong. Nothing more. I would rather have no instant replay whatsoever vs a system nobody has the balls to use appropriately.

And I hope we not only see the replay revamped, but I also hope that we see some new officials next year.

Dude bobbled the ball. Ball was secured as both feet were suspended in air. The first foot to touch ground was out of bounds.

As I said yesterday, I predict that sooner or later, Slive is going to drop the hammer on one of the coaches for these criticisms - and it will be one of the following - Johnson, Mullen, Brooks or maybe Nutt. It will be his way of sending a message without messing with one of the SEC's sacred cow programs. I don't wear a tin hat and believe any of the conspiracy theories but I DO know - from a lifetime of watching SEC sports - that there are certain "rules" about who is untouchable in this league.

one of UAT's finest tracks down and beats the **** out of an official (assuming a call ever goes against UAT)?

If this keeps up (the ****** officiating) and he keeps reprimanding all the coaches and continues to take sides with his ****** officials, the presidents and AD's need to get together and fire his ***. Pay whatever is owed to him and move on.</p>
