You tell them Parker boys that I watched every home game that Buck Showalter played in left field. Buck hit it where they weren’t. If they are half the hitter Buck was, they will be ok. 1906!?!

I think 1906 was the year we had a pitcher throw a perfect game vs LSU with 26 strikeouts. Probably the best pitching performance in baseball history. Don’t think it was Papelbon though.
Watched them live today when that happened. They genuinely had no clue Buck was a former Dawg.

I think he hit .467 his one season in Starkville. (just checked, it was .459)
