I made a comment a few months back about this class not exactly being up to par with Howland’s usual group, but I’m kinda anxious to see what they do.

In just 4 years, the list of issues with Howland’s 4 and 5 star kids is a lengthy one, and I’d like to see what he can do with some of the under the radar, yet highly talented kids. Who of us wouldn’t have killed to have a Z-man, Frazier, Power, or Stewart last year?

Pretty sure in one of the threads expressing skepticism about that class, I'm pretty sure someone made the argument that while Molinar wasn't particularly highly rated, Howland was on him early and he was not a backup plan for us, and based on Howland's history with PGs, it was stupid to think his recruiting stars were accurate. Not sure if all that is true as far as not being a back up option, but hopefully that turns out to be a prescient argument.
