Great that he is healthy and contributing. Hope he has a great season.Ash started for WSU in their first game Tuesday night against D-II Central State U. Played 19 minutes with 5 points on 2-5 shooting, 4 assists, 3 boards and 3 turnovers.
Sounds like he and Brown were what we thought they were, not Big Ten caliber starters. Makes me wonder if Collins failed to develop them or if their recruiting rankings were bloated. Then that makes me wonder about Nance and Kopp and it doesn’t leave me in a good place.Great that he is healthy and contributing. Hope he has a great season.

What are you talking about? Brown has 18 right now in the second half against the Illini and he looks very much like he belongs. Also that GCU team is pretty talented. Should make some noise in the WAC.Sounds like he and Brown were what we thought they were, not Big Ten caliber starters. Did you know that GCU just lost to a Division II team before this? A Division II team that is transitioning from NAIA?What are you talking about? I didn’t know that. Regardless they looked like they can play and the atmosphere was the opposite of Welsh Ryan. Also Brown played well on both sides of the ball.Did you know that GCU just lost to a Division II team before this? A Division II team that is transitioning from NAIA?
To put things in perspective, though, two of their top players were ruled ineligible before the game but are expected to return for conference play.
