If we have even a slimmer of a chance of slowing Lamar down, Jordan Jones must be spying him for basically the whole game. Anyone else agree?
I agree that's part of the solution. Would like to see us go with a smaller/faster lineup as well. More snaps for JD Harmon, Marcus Mcwilson, Eli Brown and less for C. Love, A. Bell, Pringle etc.If we have even a slimmer of a chance of slowing Lamar down, Jordan Jones must be spying him for basically the whole game. Anyone else agree?

Would Louisville hurt us with the power run game if we went with a front 7 of Ware/Miggins/Middleton/Allen and Jones/Mcwilson/E. Brown?
Last game of the year...time to pull out all of the stops!!!!
GBB!!!
I've been stating this same thing for the last 3 weeks! If we have even a slimmer of a chance of slowing Lamar down, Jordan Jones must be spying him for basically the whole game. Anyone else agree?
I'm sure a DB would be used here or there, but most teams use a linebacker to do the spying. Think its obvious Jones should have that responsibility. Hes probably the only linebacker who would have a chance at slowing Lamar down. Having our best defender guarding their best offensive threat is the smart thing to do IMO. Its no guarantee Jones would slow him down, but it would be worth trying.won't work. Jackson can run away from Jones or most any other linebacker. Need to contain and force everything inside. Bring a DB up inside to spy on selective downs.
