He's excited his roster and his staff and he hopes that trust is mutual with everyone around him.</p><p></p><p>-- The Bears had trouble scoring as well so that made the game closer in the first half than what stats showed. He said it was tough to watch when he knows their offense for being efficient. </p><p></p><p>-- Eilert says Ofri Naveh was awesome and he's accountable. He has a high basketball IQ as a freshman, and once his body develops and he continues to grow he could be a special player and one of the best players to come through here.</p><p></p><p>-- Wilson was dealing with big cramps in the final few minutes so that's the reason he didn't see the floor at that time. </p><p></p><p>-- He told players in the locker room that they needed to lock in defensively and they switched some defense alignments and Missouri State made some shots.</p><p></p><p>-- He's a new coach with a new staff so the players and coaches are both building their chemistry and they need to continue to grow together. </p><p>-- Eilert says the other team's strategy was to back off of Kobe Johnson and they stacked up the paint in the first half. He says Johnson got more aggressive in the second half and he wanted to use his size to drive in the paint.</p><p></p><p>-- It's a quick turnaround for Monmouth, with tomorrow off and then two days to prep for that game on Friday.
