We are the #6 ranked team in the country. We have so many weapons. So many things to be positive about. Not to mention we haven’t missed Omaha since losing a Super Regional 4 years ago. And some idiot fans think we need them to come on here and tell us who is struggling at the plate or who just made an error. Oh and by the way, we won the game.

No way could Hatcher have caught the ball and kept his foot on the bag. He probably saved a go ahead run by having the sense to make sure he caught it rather than attempting to keep his foot on the bag and catch it.

Yes, SS was charging hard and throwing hard. But it was Hatcher’s glove side, and he bailed with his back foot and didn’t even have to extend his arm all the way out to catch the ball.

To be clear, I’m certainly not degrading one of our players. But if you’re struggling at the plate, you need to be dazzling in the field.
