He definitely has a take that you're not going to hear anywhere else. It's almost kind of refreshing.Just reinforces my belief that we'll get opportunities to hit some passing chunks. Can't miss them.
The improvement is obvious. I’m seriously thinking we can win 6 and get legitimately bowl eligible … if Shapen’s @$$ can stay healthy.
That guy has been high on us all year. And he nailed it on the Arizona St. game. If Aguilar comes into Davis Wade as shaken as the ASU quarterback was we may have a chance.
I don't know when I've seen a QB as rattled as that guy was. I guess you Big 10 and PAC 12 road games just aren't the same as SEC road games. The TN quarterback has played at Clemson before. But it wasn't a conference game and didn't go that well for him.You just never know. Leavitt’s game against us sticks out like a sore thumb. He has been generally fine in other games, including beating a solid Baylor team on the road. Maybe we can affect Aguilar too.
The funniest thing to me about Leavitt in that game to me was toward the end. He was absolute 4ss all game and then when they scored that go ahead TD, he was dancing and mocking the crowd like he had something to do with them racking up 250 rushing yards against us. And then we hit them with the knockout punch. I love karmic things like that.I don't know when I've seen a QB as rattled as that guy was. Games are usually won on the line of scrimmage. And we're weak on both sides there. The Arizona St. game was an exception. If we play them 10 times, I doubt we win more than 2 or 3. Good thing is, we only play them once.Every time you start to get fired up, remember we don't have the DT......and UT likes to RuNdAbAwL.

I think there is a case to be made that Arizona State's DL is as strong or stronger than Tennessee's. If I recall right they had 7 returning guys in the 8 man rotation that carried Texas into OT in the playoffs. I'm sure UT has more star power, but ASU had a strong battle tested group.Do you think ASU's D is on par or maybe even better than Tennessee??
Seemed like a solid, experienced unit who we just caught on a few big plays?
I think their D is definitely on par with UT up front. I think ASU might be better on the back end. We weren't able to run the ball much at all on ASU and outside of our big plays, we didn't really move the ball well at all. I'm concerned about our ability to run the ball and move the chains consistently with sustained drives. UT is going to zone the hell out of us on the back end to take away our explosives.Do you think ASU's D is on par or maybe even better than Tennessee??

I think ASU OL and DL could play in the SEC. Wasn't impressed with the DBs or the coordinator leaving the DBs on an island with no safety help repeatedly.Do you think ASU's D is on par or maybe even better than Tennessee??

Aguilar has been atrocious on the road his entire career. We need him to be tomorrow. That guy has been high on us all year. And he nailed it on the Arizona St. game. If Aguilar comes into Davis Wade as shaken as the ASU quarterback was we may have a chance.
He significantly underestimated the speed we have this year at receiverI think ASU OL and DL could play in the SEC. Wasn't impressed with the DBs or the coordinator leaving the DBs on an island with no safety help repeatedly.

19 of his 27 career interceptions are on the road, i think.Yeah this guy threw double digit INT’s both years at App State. And threw two against Georgia in his only SEC start. He’s a good player but he does give the ball away a lot at times.
With absolute zero respect STFU. You and your damn looser takes.Every time you start to get fired up, remember we don't have the DT......and UT likes to RuNdAbAwL.
Agreed. I was very impressed with them up front.I think ASU OL and DL could play in the SEC. Wasn't impressed with the DBs or the coordinator leaving the DBs on an island with no safety help repeatedly.
He's def been rattled on the road. I think we win if he throws 2 or more pics & we have less than 2 turnovers. TN is bad at stopping explosive pass plays. State is an explosive pass play waiting to happen. If they sell out to stop those plays, we have very capable rbs.19 of his 27 career interceptions are on the road, i think.
