Hard to overstate how big a get this would be for us...

I'm not picky, just give me Paschal, Bowden, and at least 1 of the early enrollee juco guys (prefer evans or cole) and i'd be estatic.

Danny Davis is an elite receiver and would just be icing on the cake.

Seems if it was ND he would have picked them while there. Didn't know OK was a player.

Notre Dame is in total turmoil right now. This full pager ran Sunday(yesterday) in the South Bend paper:

Coach Stoops probably has 6-7 scholarships left in this class. Kentucky is still in the hunt for 4 very high level recruits, Bowden, Munford, Paschal, Davis. Plus 3 more, Johnson, Cole, Wright, who are right behind these 4 and would still be excellent gets for Stoops. A couple of other excellent possibilities, Jonathon Ford and Zalontae Hillery, could flip from Miami. We should keep an eye on these 9 players. If we can just get 3-4 of them, then this is a great class. I think we will get Wright. Things are looking pretty good with Davis too. If we don't get Davis, we will sign Isaiah Epps, an under the radar receiver with size and speed. Kentucky has an uphill climb to get Paschal. Kentucky has never been his leader. But Paschal visited our campus recently with his teammate Naasir Watkins, who just committed to us. So Paschal could get swept up in our recruiting momentum if Coach Marrow and big brother can work some magic.

Better add Craig Evans to your list.

I was trying to list the keys to this class being great. Craig Evans might end up being a good player, but he probably doesn't belong on this particular list. I don't think Epps does either. I just mentioned him in case we don't get Davis.

Has Paschal made an official visit here yet? I assume he's been on campus because of his brother, but not even sure of that.

Maybe so but he visited recently, has offers from SEC schools Arkansas, Miss St, and SCAR, will apparently choose between UK and Org St on Wed. Maybe he doesn't belong but maybe he's coming.

Not sure I understand why Evans wouldn't be discussed with this group. Because JUCO? I notice that Cole & Johnson are included. Gimme a 4 star JUCO DL all night and day right now. Talk about ratcheting up our game...

Agree, BD is short changing Evans for whatever reason.

Steve Wiltfong (director of recruiting at 247, correct on 88% of his predictions), and a Notre Dame insider just logged picks for UK. Apparently on ND's side of things, they expect UK to be the pick, barring something unforeseen.
Just relaying what I'm seeing.
Jason Marcum just CB'd him to y'all as well. Tom Loy (the ND recruiting analyst) is IMO, one of the most plugged in guys in the country and he just doesn't make picks that he's not confident in. Would be a huge get for UK.

Just looked at his profile on Rivals. 30 offers listed, including 8 SEC.

This likely will qualify Paschal as the most highly recruited player of the Stoops era, should he commit.

My source said the in home visit Paschal and the staff had was the best one he's had so far.

I'm just so glad looking back at what schools we were competing with for recruits to now.

We're beating Oklahoma and Notre Dame for recruits now and not Middle Tenn St... It feels so good.

I agree that Landon is the most highly rated. Paschal would be the most highly rated defensive player though. Correct?

Wiltfong is good. I've seen him indicate at least two kids to UK when fans on this board were still debating if they'd come here.

Not many true freshman can step in and play DL or OL in the SEC, but there is every opportunity for Paschal to do just that at UK in 2017
