Wow. I was about to post something similar to your first post and then He gets the fall. lol. CrazyAnd just like that the reverse jinx kicks in!
Yeah that match is certainly not a blueprint on how to be successful at this level.Wow. I was about to post something similar to your first post and then He gets the fall. lol. Crazy
Something is off with him.
What's your agenda? He won by pinSealey’s strange college odyssey seems to be continuing. Non competitive in the first half of the match. Bottom problems and no leg defense continue.
That sounds about how you would describe that match. Since you know a lot more about wrestling than most of us, we should let you take over from SlipperyPete. What's your agenda? He won by pin
Let him crawl back under his rock and live in his own delusional world! That sounds about how you would describe that match. Since you know a lot more about wrestling than most of us, we should let you take over from SlipperyPete.
Dice it's not a big deal and doesn't deserve 4 paragraphs. And you paint me as an Iowa fan so why would I be sticking up for Swiderski who was an Iowa St wrestler who's now at Oklahoma st? Those 2 programs are big rivals of Iowa. Would love to hear your logic on this one .BTW, unlike you, I probably wouldn’t be surprised if that match went either way the next time they wrestled. Despite it being far less competitive than the Evans-Valencia match prior to the scrambly action that ended with Owen on his back.
And if the Evans Valencia match went like the Sealey Owen match, I would have zero issues with you describing it the way you did. But it didn’t. You just conveniently left out the fact that the score was 7-6 when Evans scored the match winning TD - on a pretty sweet setup actually - just so you could bolster your argument with the guy who took a shot at Swiderski. And you’re probably enthralled with Valencia as well, not that he’s isn’t going to be a great talent he is.
But representing that match - Evans Valencia as “7-1 and then Evans got lucky with a feet to back with under 10 seconds to go “ was a purposeful misrepresentation whether you want to admit it or not. Seriously, no one “who follows wrestling ,” as you put it would watch those two matches and consider them remotely similar.
It matters little but it is entertaining to follow your posts which are fairly consistent in one aspect.
I have been racking my brain trying to get to that thought of who you remind me of. For those that know, it finally hit me.Dice it's not a big deal and doesn't deserve 4 paragraphs. What else do you have going on an early Sunday morning? 4 paragraphs SHOULD take you less than a minute to digest and it didn’t take me much longer to write. You should be thanking me for spicing up your coffee time by the pool, next time I’ll write 8 if you want.Dice it's not a big deal and doesn't deserve 4 paragraphs. Sealy with the dec win... Navy guy had a good time throwing hands to the face and head... no call for it...Pierce with his second TF in a row over a ranked NQ.
Match with Wasilewski is now looking pretty interesting.

PLEEEZ NOThat sounds about how you would describe that match. Since you know a lot more about wrestling than most of us, we should let you take over from SlipperyPete.
I agree, just treat it like the bat flip. You can get away with it but if it's excessive you get plucked next time up.This headgear rule is going to be a cluster this year. Navy kid just got penalized a point wrestling Bundy because his headgear broke for the third time and he gently tosses it off the mat after he walks to his coach to get a new one. Could have been a big point- it was 1-0 at the time - but didn’t turn out to be.
But if they keep calling it like this it will happen in a big match and be a deciding factor. Why the F this has to be a point of emphasis I’ll never know. Refs have had discretion on UC forever and generally do a great job. With the exception of the Nazareth guy last year, lol. But you can’t cause a cluster like this will be because of a very few instances of poor judgment.
Here’s a little cheat code for you, Dice: Iowa State wrestlers are recognized as being red and yellow; Iowa wrestlers are recognized as being “oranges”.Last I checked ISU is in Iowa. Those guys all look the same to me.
Corby, I really appreciate your perspective on wrestling. You share good information and seem pretty well informed.Dice it's not a big deal and doesn't deserve 4 paragraphs. Maybe a lot!Corby, I really appreciate your perspective on wrestling. You share good information and seem pretty well informed.
But you also seem to like to stir the pot, and like to get the final word after doing it. Maybe reflect a little.
