We’ve had what, 2-3 .500 or under win seasons in over a 100 years? It’s never acceptable, but Pope doesn’t have a worldwide pandemic to blame. To add insult to injury you have Pope and the media bragging about spending $20 million on the team. There has to be consequences.
Don’t care at all. Play or don’t play, we aren’t winning much. I already had tomorrow pegged as a loss. I’m tired.
When I was saying play them and the walk ons after Gonzaga I was serious
I could give him a pass for this year if there was something to be optimistic about but he has signed nothing. It’s a dark future right now.
You and @UKortho can take that positivity and shove it up where it belongs. We are watching one of the lowest few years of UK basketball ever and you 2 act like the fans are the ones overreacting. If anything fans and especially the administrators are under reacting. We have an AD that is no where to be found, President that might as well not exist and a coach that’s contemplating suicide.

If JQ ends up opting out, if I’m Lowe, I’d go ahead and have the shoulder surgery. Not like these two so-called saviors have helped us any.

The fact everyone is piling on blindly about him sitting to not hurt his draft stock is sad. Non of you know anything about the situation. Why don’t we allow it to unfold before we act like idiots about something you have no clue about.

Pope hasn't been a successful coach in his career. His record is not impressive. There's absolutely no reason to believe this is a just bad year based on his coaching record. If he had been a top tier coach for years, then most people would see this season differently. He is failing miserably at the moment on the court and on recruiting. I desperately hoped this would work, but he needed immediate success to prove he was qualified. That hasn't happened.
IMO he was able to play for some time before he did, and ONLY did because the noise was getting too loud and the excuses running out. He's been exposed as not being very good, and whether it not it's the reason he's out you can bet his agent has been in his ear about possibly sitting. Probably said something like "the team isn't winning anything anyway".
No offense, but if you’re tired of it, why stick around? Heck, why be a Kentucky fan at all at this point? With every loss more fans are going to join the angry mob demanding Pope’s removal. It’s going to get so much worse.
Actual train wreck at this point.
And the ironic thing is that he's talking about something on DEFENSE. That video had me CONVINCED we had our Dan Hurley. I can't believe any of this.

Has there been any reports or even rumors about the type of injury or any details? It seems that information usually comes out quickly in these situations.
A lot of us were blinded. Even last year we had multiple 10+ loss games and had to come back from down 10+ even in the games we won. This was never sustainable I have to admit. I just thought that it was just 1st season wonkiness. Clearly it’t not.

Despite the issues, he did well last year. I’ve never seen such a drop-off in my life. Well, 2020 to 2021 Calipari but that’s probably the only other time.
Living in Western Kentucky, I get the feeling a lot of kids around here are going to grow up becoming IU fans. I’m already seeing more IU merch than I’d like to admit.

Ortho or her are not being overly positive they're just saying to stop piling on like a lot of few warriors behind your keyboards do. Nobody is happy with what's going on and most people want poked to move on with some of you jerks just keep piling on over and over. It's not gonna change anything.
My son is 23. It's hard to explain to him how good we've been and how great it feels when we're rolling.
In the years that he's been old enough to know what's going on, he hasn't seen it.
We are all angry. All of us. It’s no posters fault how things are going. I often like things I don’t fully co-sign and many others do too. No need to friendly fire, BBN is sad as a whole and rightfully so.
