Jones won’t pony up 4 million for a RB now let alone a 16 year old.
This is actually the best outcome for us imo. He'll do nothing there, cal doesn't get him, and we didn't waste money on a 17 year old.

Just in general regarding Hart--he's outstanding. But I don't view anything with JQ as a loss now he's out of the LOI. Pope had 0 ties so sucks that a quality player (I'm a huge fan of Quaintance) is not coming. Brooks also recruited JQ for Baylor too. So hopefully they add him on board and you have 2 big time recruiters under Pope who we see never sleeps-guy's working hard-now just needs to get across finish line with some guys. But these hires (again if Brooks gets finalized) show he's on right track.

There's some good Arkansas fans that have visited us over the years...especially @ThreeHogNight . Hopefully the fun will continue but there will always be the outliers and we have those as well.
I think its hard to compete with blue blood schools on the platforms they offer to build your personal brand. No matter who's coaching or what Yahoo is offering to double NIL deals. There are only. couple schools that can offer 20 thousand in attendance on a nightly basis. Arky aint one of them.

He runs ZERO out of bounds plays.
He has no idea how to use timeouts effectively
He loses TONS of games in the last 4 min, as he is routinely out-coached.
He refuses to play the best lineups, even if analytics say otherwise.
They have no idea what they are in for.

Say 32 game season at 1.5m that’s $465,000 to hang out in college and fake an injury while cutting out a third of your workload. Would be hard to pass up.

You'll have certain programs that will "punch above their weight" but they won't be many and they won't be consistent.
At some point we will look into success in the NCAA tournament and NIL money and see just how correlated the two become.
