If the stories are true about the money requirement would the conclusion be that Arizona State came through? In any event, I kept reading Memphis was a strong possibility and that is a team I love to see lose so glad it is not them (if he really is any good. What I saw in the all-star game did not impress me).

NIL now requires something like an NFL capalogist to document and track who is asking for what to choose wisely on where to spend your finite resources. Some ‘losses’ in recruitment may simply be a wise decision to conserve money for another player.
