My son and girlfriend were fortunate to be outside the arena while the team was boarding the bus after the game. Both JQ and Coach Pope were gracious enough to have their picture taken with each one separately. He was impressed with Jayden’s friendliness and Coach Pope asked where he traveled from to come to the game and thanked him for being there. Coach spoke with each of the fans individually as if they were long lost friends. Can only wish the best for JQ and Coach the rest of the season. They deserve our support as UK ambassadors.

I knew he was a talent and believed the many people who usually know these things who told us that he was a legit lottery pick. I had high expectations. I knew Pope wanted to limit his minutes (and he did) but I thought he might play a little more if he looked good.

He looked good immediately upon entering the game. Grabbed a rebound, blocked a shot, played solid defense. But he looked a little rusty in his short minutes in the first half. But even at that, I could see his potential. Then the 2nd half came and he went from a potential difference maker to actually making the plays to win the game. He's definitely a lottery pick, on potential alone.

If Lowe can stay healthy and Quaintance can become a starter (and he will), the upside of this team soars. He's going to have a greater impact than I expected.

Here’s the thing about JQ that’s glaringly obvious watching him play.
he looks like a grown man beating and banging down low. It’s hard to describe but most know what I mean. He just moves people and does what he wants. We don’t have a single other player on our roster that can do that. Garrison should be able to but he can’t. I think once they fully turn JQ loose he will be one of the best in the country come tourney time

He's gave vague details about some South American PG were looking at. For football hes hearing we may Fire Stoops, if we do Summeral will be the guy we go after.
You need to get on Bromley’s Discord. It will cost you some crypto to join but well worth it. Can’t share too much but let’s just say watch out for the name Scott Rigot…

That aged well
In OSTB defense there’s a thread on Reddit that is claiming Joe’s Discord got hacked by one of Marc Maggard’s online army of weirdos (they call themselves MeManBoyz).

Usually when Joe says it you can take it to the bank. Dude is so good he coined the phrase “mark this post”.

Is better than advertised. He’s Anthony Davis good. Hes season saving good. Hes everything and more than we all expected.
No, he is not AD level good. AD was NPOY even though he scored just 12ppg.
I think he has been hyped up so much the past month (because we NEEDED something to give us hope of a turnaround), that even living up to that hype will be tough.
But....I do think he will be a very good player for us this year, and I think a much better comparison would be to Nerlins Noel. And I'd be happy with that.

He's not Davis good..but he's damn good.
Idk man. Won’t know for a long time but he’s more powerful than Davis. His court presence is as good. His energy is off the charts. Hes missed half the season basically so he won’t have the accolades but he looked like he didn’t fit in against Saint John’s. By far the most athletic guy on either team.

I seen him do things I didn’t see AD do in college. Mainly when he took his guy iso from the three point line to the rim and scored with ease. Everything just looks easy for him.

We must not be watching the same channel. JQ would move Nerlins anywhere on the court he wanted to. Can you not see the difference in physique, size, strength and yes, overall talent? My goodness. I thought Nerlins was great, he was a terrific shot blocker. I was glad he was on the team and that season was over when he went down. JQ has been referred to as a man child since early high school. Very few individuals in the game ever warrant this description. Nerlins was a slender shot blocking specialist, JQ has so much more even now at the same age as most freshmen. Nerlins didn't have the same weight and mass as JQ if he was carrying a full size suitcase packed for a two week trip. Two completely different players in so many ways.

He might be the best player to ever play the game. He makes Jordan look second rate. Oh, and we’re going undefeated the rest of the way.
It's been a long wait to wash away that disgusting, cheating, powder blue bitter taste in my mouth at having to wait this long before we finally had someone that would make that happen around here. Funny I thought it was to have been The Brow that did it .....

Go Big Blue* !
