I saw something I need verification on . After the safety, did he go to the bench take his pads off and put on the shirt with his Grandmothers picture on the back ?

Yeah jrob wanted this bad. He comes and plays his A game Everytime. Which is why I don't understand he didn't get as many carries or catches out of the backfield. But **** it.

Bama`s defensive game plan was pretty simple...don`t let Dak and JRob beat them running the ball and they had enough personnel to do that. I do think he should have been thrown to several more times though.

He had 6 catches and a couple more targets. Without looking at stats I don't know if he has had that many targets all year. I agree with you though on the game plan. They were committed to run defense and making Dak win it passing. Unfortunately he wasn't able to do that.

It really came down to two players, their punter and our punter (who also had his worst game on kick offs). In the first half we were crushed in the field position game and got conservative while they generally started on the 50.

Their punter is unreal and I think I hear he was just a freshman from CO. If so to bad he can't go pro this year what a weapon. Best punter seen all year and correctly said by Vern we had a HS kicker.

He didn't do a very good job reading blocks yesterday. There were several plays he needs to plant his foot and try to run through a tackle.

Anyone see how close Sumpert came to blocking one of his punts? Just not our day. They took the los away from us.

I can't believe he didn't even get a piece of that punt. I was already celebrating the block, then it was another great punt. Also impressed that Shump didn't touch the punter.

We weren't going to win the game relying on the run yesterday. That's one of the biggest fallacies I've seen. We all knew we had to beat them with Dak's arm, and it didn't happen. Punting didn't help.
