is it just me or am I still hung over from last night's party for my wife's 32nd birthday party. I am reading the clarion ledger and saw the article about JSU and Memorial Stadium. They want the legislature to finance their football field to the tune of 65 million dollars. They said it maybe 8-10 years before they can get the money! What the sam hell? Are we, MSU, trying to get the legislature to fund our expansion, is this possible? If they get the funding that would be tax dollars right? Why don't they get someone to start a drive and raise the damn money? Maybe they should start with everyone that's here for the Scott sister's pardon, they should be able to raise a few hundred this weekend. Sorry for the rant. Heads hurting, to many tequila shots and jager last night.

The proceeds from the land could then finance the JSU stadium. This may not work, and it may be 20 years too late, as no one wants any part of Jackson anymore.

the national guard could provide enough security to safely have a night(or day for that matter) football game in JSU`s neighborhood. This fiasco will be entertaining.....expensive but still entertaining.

I'm afraid people who are able to show up for a demonstration in the middle of the day during the week don't have jobs.

I'd like to offer my heartiest congratulations. But there's no shame in slowing down on the tequila and jager shots.

that they are NOT entitled to have an awesome football stadium? We all know they are and that this will increase the academic credibility of a failing school. Just imagine all of the Noble Peace prize winners that stadium will bring.<div>(But it won't happen because the state only wants the big 3 to remain the flagships of the state.****************************)</div>
