Saw this when I was googling something else. JSU is basically resubmitting the same proposal that was shot down last year for them own 50,000 seat dome. What's the definition of insanity again?

That fan base may be more delusional than Ole miss. If you listen to 5 minutes of "Talkin Sports, with Rob Jay and Willie T Richardson" on ESPN Radio...you will wonder if it's a big prank. They talk as if JSU should be going undefeated every year, bringing in players like Taylor and Speaks from Jackson, and drawing more fans than State and Ole miss.

And I'm not making those examples up, by the way....Jimmy Smith, Jay, and Richardson, actually said those things being serious.

Smith: "There's no excuse that Comegy couldn't get those Callaway guys to stay home and go to JSU".

Jay: "JSU was consistently having bigger home crowds than MSU and OM in the early 90's, we should be back to that"

He was talking about how they should have hired Brett Favre. Their fans really think they are on par with State and Ole Miss.
