Exactly he couldn't feed off the NIL money so he turned up hoping to make NBA money soon. Don't give a **** if Cal needs my approval or not. I was a fan long before he got here and will be a fan afterwards. I'm not scared of change, but I'm sure you are gonna defend Cal til our next NIT game next year.
We don't even know who our players will be yet. But i think we will have a good season next year with Cal.
You've never heard me defend Cal. But what I will do is tell dipshits that say he is a horrible coach that they are wrong. He is one of a few hall of fame coaches that are actively coaching. People younger than me think that we are going to the championship game every year. No one does that. There has been a considerable amount of time between every final four except 96-98 and once Cal got here. Before that, it was about every 8 years at best. I want us to win every year too. Where were you right before the SEC tournament, or when we got a 2 seed? I'm assuming you were tickled. We got upset. It happens unfortunately. Doesn't mean you fire a hall of fame coach. Everyone sucked Joe B. off. He went to 3 final fours in the time that Cal has gone to 4. He won one, had the best team every year he went but everyone loved him. Why? Probably because there wasn't social media for people to just spout BS.

Always living in the past. That's all the Cal defenders can do.
We used to go after the best of the best. Now Cal just seems to get what he can get by throwing pieces together and hoping they work. The only top player we got this past year SAT ON THE BENCH and didn't even play. I am trying really had to not get invested in the recruiting and just wait to see what we end up with. Kinda like a surprise grab bag.

I don't expect this kid here. Three colleges so far and his next stop will be his fourth. Red flags everywhere! But I thought this was interesting.
The 6-foot-3 point guard is from Louisville and played his high school ball across the river in New Albany, Ind., where he was a teammate of former five-star recruit Romeo Langford. It’s not yet clear how seriously Kentucky will pursue East this offseason.
The Cats are already bringing in five-star combo guard recruit Cason Wallace, and starting point guard Sahvir Wheeler could return for a second season with the Wildcats’ program. If Wheeler decides to pursue other opportunities, Kentucky is expected to have several talented options at the point guard position.
