Awesome news! Obviously the new AD will want to fill the FB HC himself so this may take some time
Let's hope. If she's the only one that goes, we're not in a better place at all.
I don't know about that....unless, Barchi has his AD in place pronto...and that AD has the FB HC in mind.
I wouldn't want RU to make hire in a vacuum...like we've always done with football and basketball.

I know it is hard to give RU the benefit of the doubt, but the next AD needs to be the right hire in every way. If it takes time and disrupts things in the short term, so be it. This is a long term decision.
I don't think it's a good situation to have an interim AD or a committee make the HC hire, but it's not like keeping Flood for next year is tenable and waiting until February when a new AD is in place will be a complete dumpster fire.
Carino of APP.com, who is morphing into an old lady calls Hermann a "colossal failure."

As everyone knows, in May of 2014 Hermann left a voicemail for Eric LeGrand saying Rutgers was reneging on its offer to make him the keynote speaker at the upcoming commencement. Former New Jersey governor Tom Kean was getting the nod instead.
“President (Robert) Barchi decided to go in a different direction because of political reasons,” the paralyzed Scarlet Knights football player reported Hermann as saying.
The next part has been chewed over many times within Rutgers’ administrative circles: Upon reading about the voicemail, Barchi’s head exploded. His office’s instructions to Hermann had been simple: Explain to LeGrand that he still would be a speaker, just not THE speaker.
That the wrong message was communicated, and worse yet done via voicemail only -- plus the aftermath that a vexed LeGrand could not get Hermann to return his call -- served as the tipping point for Barchi. It was the moment when he finally realized Hermann could not do the job. He might have been the last person in New Jersey to arrive at that conclusion.

I hope we've learned by using this method in hiring our last AD.
It just made the losers in the committee to sharpen their axes for not getting their candidate.
